“Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.”—Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
“I want it now!”

—Willy Wonka to Charlie in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
This movie is filled with life lessons. Take the three quotes above. The first one applies to anyone with an idea. It’s not so much the idea that matters most–a great many people have good ideas with good intentions. It’s the people who put those ideas in action that finish first. The second line from the movie relates to Millennials. They want it now, which is good. Ha, surprised you there. If you haven’t noticed, age and experience isn’t as important as it once was. If a person can come up with a solution to a problem or make people’s lives better, they can have success right now regardless of when they were born. The last line from the film proves a point. Mr. Wonka wanted to pass on his “business” to a kid rather than an adult–but it had to be the right kid, and Charlie proved he was the one when he did the right thing at the end.
