Unconditional Love

“Love means never having to say you’re sorry.”
—Jenny (and Oliver) in Love Story
Unconditional love may be the most coveted of connections. When we are lucky enough to have it in our lives, we should nurture it, and when needed–say we are sorry if it will keep the connection healthy and strong. They say a solid relationship is like a brick wall, and if we do things that damage the wall, we are removing a brick. If we do enough damage, the wall collapses . . . but it can be rebuilt if we say we are sorry (or accept an apology) and let go of any negative feelings and move forward with pure, unconditional love.
