Don’t Miss Your Life

We are all dying–some of us faster than others. Actress Valerie Harper knows she only has weeks left to live. She has terminal cancer. When someone facing death offers us advice, we should listen. In a “People” magazine article Harper advised, “Don’t miss your life.” This may mean different things to different people, but I think we all (many times mistakenly) believe we have all the time in the world–especially when we are younger–to do and say everything that’s important to us and those around us. Don’t wait until it’s too late to be in the moment and let go of the past, celebrate your good health, allow yourself to love and be loved, and pursue your passion.
