We All Want To Change The World, But Who Has The Time?

Graham Nash (of CSNY) was recently being interviewed and said, “If you want to change the world, the first place to start is to change your world.” He brings up a great point. It would be nice if we could all influence the greatest number of people, but to do so may just means we need to start small–which is great, because that’s doable. Many of you may (or may not) know that I lost 75 pounds in under a year. I did it for my own health, but my transformation has had an impact on people around me. Several friends and acquaintance are now also getting fit. I haven’t done anything but work on my own health, and it’s helping others. Whatever we wish there were more of in others–better manners, improved design, stellar customer service, more smiles–we should start by being shining examples of those attributes. As Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
